An important event for children with cancer
The Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau is one or two days of paddling around Montreal. At the same time, three accessible courses have also been created for those who prefer a less challenging, but just as fun, experience! Kayaks and paddleboards are welcome!
On Sunday afternoon, a closing ceremony will be held to announce the proceeds raised for our children.
Efforts that count
By participating in the Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau, you can contribute directly towards offering a healthy future to the 2,000 Quebec children with cancer. Rest assured that your efforts make an enormous difference: since 1980, the rate of recovery for the most common type of pediatric cancer has increased from 35% to more than 80 %. These promising advances serve to guide researchers towards two objectives: curing the 20% of children whose cancer is resistant to treatment, and improving the quality of life of children in remission by giving them access to a true cure, with no after-effects or complications — a reality too seldom seen, unfortunately.
An event that brings hope
In 2022, we were able to raise over $ 315,000 with the Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau. Since its beginnings, the event raised over a million dollars, allowing the Fondation Charles-Bruneau to achieve its mission which is to give all children with cancer the best chances of recovery by financing research and supporting the development of projects in the area of pediatric hematology and oncology.
